Job Summary
As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will own the end-to-end sales cycle for our industrial chemical range in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and neighbouring markets. You’ll combine deep product knowledge with strong commercial acumen to identify opportunities, craft solutions and close high-value deals.
Key Responsibilities
Drive revenue growth by hunting, nurturing and closing opportunities with OEMs, EPCs, PSUs and key private-sector accounts.
Expand market footprint through targeted campaigns, trade-show participation and thought-leadership content.
Own the complete sales cycle – discovery, technical evaluation, tender participation, negotiation and deal closure.
Deliver compelling technical presentations and ROI analyses; translate customer challenges into tailored chemical solutions.
Conduct market intelligence, build quarterly forecasts and provide input to new-product launch roadmaps.
Mentor junior sales coordinators and step up as acting team lead when required.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or allied Engineering OR 2-3 years of proven technical B2B sales success.
Track record of outperforming targets and winning competitive tenders.
Working knowledge of industrial chemicals and ability to quickly master new product lines.
Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills (English and local languages).
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint; ability to turn data into actionable insights.
Desirable Extras
Existing network in process industries across Telangana/AP.
Hands-on experience with public-sector e-procurement portals (GeM, e-Tender, etc.).
Demonstrated ability to launch new product lines or territories from scratch.
